The COXDOME Classic Range manual opening polycarbonate dome skylights for flat roofs are manufactured to the highest standard with double or triple glazing. As standard they are supplied with a 150mm PVC-u upstand. The upstand is thermally broken and manufactured from PVC-u plastic profiles which ensures thermal efficiency and prevents condensation.
The COXDOME Classic manual opening rooflight is supplied with a spindle gear to be operated from below and using a winding pole which is supplied. The maximum opening is around 300 mm.

The size ordered on the website for this product would be the same size you need to make your structural opening/roof hole size. For example, if you order a 1000mm X 1000mm dome rooflight from the website you would need to make your structural opening 1000mm x 1000mm. The visible rooflight daylight size would be 800x800mm due to the splayed upstand supplied. The daylight size will be 200mm smaller than the Rooflight size as shown on the table below.

-How Do I Open this Coxdome Manual Skylight?
Each unit is fitted with a spindle gear, which is designed to be operated from below with a winding pole (also supplied). All you need to do is attach the pole and wind the gear until the skylight is fully open. To close it, simply wind the gear in the other direction.
