A Wendland roof lantern provides a stunning focal point for any kitchen, living room or dining room. Designed to draw plenty of daylight into your room with its 20° pitch, a Wendland lantern makes your new room bright and airy. Thanks to a strong ridge the Wendland lantern has less bars than other lanterns and with a host of clip-on features there are no visible fixings. Put simply, this means that the lantern looks both neat and stylish.
Wendland lanterns are packed with thermal features to avoid condensation build-up. From the thermal rider rail to the thermal clips, these features combine to ensure excellent performance, especially important in a kitchen where heat levels can change quickly. Made to measure, the lanterns are perfect for any flat roof extension or orangery and are available as standard aluminium (grey, white or black) external and PVCu (grey or white) internal. Available in rectangle and square.
Manual or electric opening modules can be supplied for the Wendland Roof Lantern, the minimum lantern dimensions with opening option would be 2096mm x 1457mm, please contact us for a custom quote.

Easy to Install, Simple to Maintain
The Wendland Roof Lantern was designed to be very easy and convenient to live with, right from the moment it is first installed, until the end of its useful lifespan. Supplied with a pre-assembled RidgeLOCK system, thermal clips, easy-fit capping and clip-on end covers, this roof lantern is one of the easiest to install you will find on the market today. It is also very easy to maintain: both the external and internal glazing can be wiped and cleaned in the same manner as the rest of the glazing in your property.
Please note the size you purchase from our website is the same size your external upstand measurement including roofing material needs to be. For example if you buy a 1000mm by 2000mm Wendland Roof Lantern from our website then your external upstand size needs to be 1000mm by 2000mm. Upstand width should be minimum 70mm wide and 150mm high. A +20mm tolerance is built in therefore if your external upstand size is 1020mm by 2020mm then the 1000mm by 2000mm lantern would still fit.
Please note the roof lantern will overhang the external upstand by 116mm as shown on the image below. If you purchase the 1000mm x 2000mm Wendland Roof lantern from our website the overall size of the roof lantern including the 116mm overhang on each side would be 1232mm by 2232mm.
The Wendland roof lantern is made to order. Please ensure size ordered is correct as sizes and specification cannot be changed once manufacturing commences.

Wendland Roof Lanterns will always design with the minimum number of bars - if you require additional and specific bars, please specify before making payment as all Roof Lanterns are made to order and cannot be changed once manufacturing commences.

Generally, a North facing house and therefore conservatory, would benefit from extra light and a preferred option could be Celsius Neutral glass - thus allowing maximum light infiltration, but still allowing the huge benefits that Celsius performance gives, such as its heat retention properties. Conversely, a South facing house which would receive maximum sun and light, would definitely benefit from Celsius One Blue Tint glass - giving you that extra solar and antiglare protection.
